Title:  Structural Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a highly qualified Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise in building and infrastructure structural design. The ideal candidate will have solid experience across all project stages from concept design to IFC and will contribute to multidisciplinary engineering projects through design assurance, structural analysis, and site verification activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Main descriptions of the job position:

• Review structural designs to ensure compliance with safety, stability, regulatory requirements, and internal engineering standards.
• Perform design assurance reviews to confirm that proposed structures are constructible, safe, and durable.
• Participate in site inspections to verify that structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications, ensuring structural integrity throughout construction.
• Develop and review engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
• Support multidisciplinary project teams from concept design through detailed engineering and IFC stages.
• Prepare future Scopes of Services, review bidders’ technical queries, and support the Design Manager by providing technical justifications and required documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project requirements.

ABOUT YOU

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (with a major or postgraduate studies in Structural Engineering).
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working on projects in the Middle East.
• Proven experience in:
• Structural design from concept to IFC
• Design review and design assurance
• Warehouses, office buildings, and infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in industry‑standard software such as:
• AutoCAD
• SAP2000
• ETABS
• Prokon
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with relevant international structural codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Transferable work permits valid in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
