Title: Senior Railway Engineer
ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Senior Railway Engineer to join our Rail & Transit team as a Design Coordinator. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary design activities and ensuring alignment between all engineering teams involved in major rail and transit projects. This position is based in Riyadh.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Main descriptions of the job position:
- Coordinating multiple design teams across architecture, structures, MEP, BIM, and other disciplines.
- Ensuring alignment and consistency of all project deliverables.
- Managing interface issues between different engineering disciplines.
- Organizing and leading technical coordination meetings.
- Reviewing and supervising the quality and consistency of drawings, reports, and BIM models.
- Coordinating delivery schedules with discipline leads and the client.
- Acting as the primary link between the design team and the client.
- Collecting and consolidating client requirements, changes, and comments.
- Identifying risks related to delays and proposing corrective actions.
- Ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements.
- Managing document control, versioning, and updates.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in the railway or transportation engineering sector.
- Proven experience in national and international railway project development.
- Strong knowledge in:
- Railway civil works design
- Track superstructure
- Coordination of multidisciplinary design teams
- National and international railway standards
Additional valued experience:
- Previous involvement in metro line or conventional railway design projects.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
