Title:  Electrical Engineer

ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a highly skilled Saudi Electrical Engineer with strong technical experience in High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) power systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in the design and analysis of Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL), substations, and MV/HV electrical networks, and will contribute to engineering studies and multidisciplinary project development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Main descriptions of the job position:

•    Conduct daily inspections of mechanical works, including piping systems, pumping stations, valves, mechanical equipment installation, HVAC systems (if applicable), fire‑fighting networks, and utility-related mechanical components.
•    Perform engineering design and analysis for OHTL, substations, and MV/HV networks.
•    Develop and review engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
•    Conduct system studies, including load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, and stability analysis.
•    Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and project deliverables.
•    Support multidisciplinary project teams from concept design through detailed engineering.
•    Ensure compliance with international standards and project requirements.
•    Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications & Skills:

•    Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
•    3-7 years of professional experience in HV/MV power systems.
•    Proven experience in:
     o    Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL)
     o    Substation design
     o    MV/HV network analysis
•    Proficiency in industry standard software such as:
     o    ETAP
     o    PSS(R)E or PSCAD
     o    AutoCAD or equivalent drafting tools
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Familiarity with relevant international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.).
•    Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience
•    Previous work in utility companies, engineering consultants, or EPC environments.
•    Experience of collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
