ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for Strategic transport and logistics consultant to join our team of Digital Transformation in our offices in Bilbao or Madrid. 

As a member of IDOM’s Operations Practice, you will join a multi‑cultural, multi‑disciplinary global team advising leading airport operators, cargo terminal developers, logistics companies, and investors. You will contribute to strategic, commercial, and operational projects related to airport cargo logistics.

You will be part of a global organisation that offers extensive experience and strategic expertise in major transport infrastructure developments and key logistics and industrial projects around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, structure, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data.
• Apply knowledge of air cargo logistics concepts, operational processes, and industry principles.
• Interpret technical documents such as layouts, process diagrams, operational data, and design drawings.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and automation systems in the air cargo logistics.
• Contribute to preparing and delivering high‑quality client deliverables including analyses, research, reports, and presentations.
• Support business development initiatives, proposals, and thought‑leadership content.
• Actively contribute to team culture, internal knowledge development, and shared objectives.

ABOUT YOU

Don't hesitate to apply if...

• Higher degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience in consulting or in the transportation, logistics, or aviation sector will be valued.
• Design or planning of airport cargo terminals, logistics centers, or warehouses.
• Strong customer focus.
• You have advanced English skills.
• You enjoy teamwork and technical rigor.
