ABOUT THE JOB

 

We are looking for an Requirements Expert to join the team of Rail & Transit in our offices in Madrid, Bilbao or Barcelona.

In a multidisciplinary environment you will be exposed to all the latest technologies and best practices. Your main responsibilities are going to be:

 

  • Lead the production of Verification and Validation Matrices (VVMs) to support technical design assurance.
  • Ensure that the requirements management approach aligns with project standards and contractual obligations.
  • Report to and liaise with project teams and subcontractors regarding requirements management processes during design, construction, and delivery phases.
  • Develop, configure, and manage the requirements management database.
  • Drive innovation in the requirements management approach.
  • Facilitate tracking and regular reporting on the performance of the requirements management process.
  • Support other disciplines in their interactions with the DOORS database or similar tools.

ABOUT YOU

Apply if you…

  • You hold a degree in fields related to Civil, Industrial, or Systems Engineering, or a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
  • You have at least 2 years of prior experience working on large infrastructure projects, especially in civil or railway engineering, and in the use of DOORS, JAMA, or similar requirements management tools.
  • You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • You are capable of working effectively with project delivery teams and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are familiar with industry standards and best practices in requirements management.
  • You have fluent English (minimum level B2/C1, spoken and written); other languages will be valued.
  • You have analytical skills and are proficient in report writing.
  • You are familiar with tools for designing participatory and communication processes (desirable).
  • You are able to work effectively with project delivery teams and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and you demonstrate autonomy, flexibility, technical rigor, and an international mindset.
