We are looking for an Earthing & Bonding specialist to join the team of Rail & Transit in our offices in Madrid, Bilbao or Barcelona.

ABOUT YOU

 

Apply if you…

  • You preferably hold a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • You have at least 5 years of proven experience in earthing & bonding systems within railway environments (high-speed rail, metro, tram, etc.). Experience in railway electrification projects in both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) is also required, as well as experience in the design, review, and validation of grounding and equipotential bonding schemes. The ability to work in multidisciplinary and international environments will be valued.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of stray currents and their mitigation.
  • You are well-versed in key European railway standards, including EN 50122 (electrical safety and grounding), EN 50121 (electromagnetic compatibility), EN 50119 (overhead contact line), and familiar with other relevant standards (IEC, EN, etc.).
  • You are capable of analyzing electrical risks, grounding systems, and stray currents, as well as preparing technical reports, procedures, and mitigation strategies.
  • You have fluent English (minimum level B2/C1, spoken and written); other languages will be valued.
  • You are a team player with autonomy, flexibility, technical rigor, and an international mindset.
