ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Senior Consultant Ports to join in our offices in  Madrid or Barcelona.

As a member of IDOM’s Strategy & Operations Practice, you will have the opportunity to be part of a large multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary family working with leading transport authorities, technological developers and promoters and different types of investors, advising them on strategic and operational challenges. You will be part of a global organisation that offers extensive experience and strategic expertise in major maritime transport developments and key logistics and industrial projects around the world.

Your roles and responsibilities will be:

· Lead and deliver consulting assignments related to technological projects (content, project plan, workloads, oversee day-to-day deliveries).

· Perform hypothesis driven thinking, guide the team’s analyses.

· Review work produced by the team to ensure highest quality levels output.

· Provide exceptional client service and engage client counterpart.

· Ensure smooth handover of project deliverables.

· Stay up to date on the transport / maritime industry and tech sector.

· Identify commercial opportunities and opportunities for collaboration with partners.

· Manage internal requirements for quality, compliance, systems and related.

ABOUT YOU

Apply if you…

•  Have studied Bachelor's or Master (preferred degree in Industrial Engineering)
•  Have Minimum 4-6 years of professional work experience in a global consulting/engineering firm, with a proven portfolio of projects in transport advisory sector
•  Hands-on experience in Project Management.
•  Availability to travel (especially to the Middle East).
•        Strong communication skills.
•        Project Management skills.
•        Problem – solving capabilities.
•        Strong analytical skills.
•        Output focused.
•        High customer orientation.
•       Demonstrated leadership and initiative.
•       Able to work independently and effectively within a team.
•       Have a Proficient level in Spanish and complete command of English. Other multilingual abilities will be highly valued.
