ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY :

As part of its involvement in the ITER project, IDOM Nuclear Services is recruiting a Variation Engineer. Within our company, your main tasks will be as follows:

  • Assessing the impact reports of variations submitted by the client and proposals issued by the contractor, ensuring their technical and contractual compliance.
  • Oversee the change management process, from initial analysis to issuing instructions, ensuring coordination with the client and stakeholders.
  • Assist the client in negotiations related to contract modifications and actively contribute to the processing of claims.
  • Produce monthly monitoring reports, variation status reports, and interim payment certificates (IPCs), ensuring the reliability of the data.
  • Ensure the proper application of quality procedures in the context of modifications and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

 

ABOUT YOU :

You have an engineering degree or a master's degree in electrical engineering, HVAC, I&C, or general engineering, and at least three years of experience in the construction industry, ideally on complex or high-value projects (> €20 million).

You have solid technical knowledge of civil engineering, reinforced concrete and metal structures, as well as HVAC systems, piping, fire protection/detection, compressed air, water, and gas.

Your expertise as a quantity surveyor allows you to rigorously monitor costs, invoicing, and budget control. Experience in an international environment and proficiency in FIDIC contracts would be highly appreciated.

As a team player, you are proactive, reliable, and committed to your responsibilities. You communicate fluently in English and French, and proficiency in a third language would be highly valued.
