ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking to hire a senior electronics engineer for our Science and Technology business unit, with extensive experience in astronomy, space, fusion, and particle physics, to develop embedded electronic systems for high-performance optical and mechanical systems.

The selected candidate will lead the design, manufacturing, programming, and commissioning of embedded systems for motion control in high-precision mechanisms, image detector reading, and communications control, among other applications.

ABOUT YOU

Apply if you...

  • Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field. Additional training in embedded systems, advanced electronic systems, or similar fields will be positively valued.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of analog and digital electronic systems.
  • Experience in the space sector will be positively valued.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in microcontroller programming, bare-metal applications, and RTOS will be positively valued.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and enjoy complicated, quantitative analytical challenges.
  • Motivation for professional development within a highly qualified engineering team.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude building bridges within the organization worldwide.
  • High level of English.
  • Innovative mindset and willingness to learn.
