ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking to incorporate a Junior Engineer into our Marine Technologies Business Line to join our Bilbao office, supporting the development of innovative engineering and R&D projects in the offshore and marine energy sectors with high technological value.

The position will involve contributing to technical activities related to the design and development of innovative offshore solutions and marine technologies, as well as collaborating on commercial and business development actions associated with these projects. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment, alongside experienced engineers, contributing to cutting-edge developments in marine renewable energies and offshore engineering.

• Actively participate in national and international projects related to offshore and marine energy technologies
• Support engineering and R&D activities for the development of innovative offshore solutions
• Collaborate in the preparation of technical and commercial proposals
• Work closely with senior engineers and project managers in a multidisciplinary environment
• Contribute to client interactions and business development actions

ABOUT YOU

Apply if you...

• University degree (MSc level) in Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, Energy Engineering, or similar
• Strong interest in offshore technologies and marine renewable energies
• Ability to contribute to both technical engineering tasks and commercial / business development activities
• Strong numerical and analytical skills (experience in floating bodies hydrodynamics is a plus)
• Creative approach to problem-solving and enjoy complicated, quantitative analytical challenges
• Motivation for professional development within a highly qualified engineering team
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude building bridges within the organization worldwide
• High level of English
• Innovative mindset and willingness to learn

Knowledge of offshore engineering, offshore renewables, numerical modelling, or experience in R&D environments will be valued
