ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to recruit a communications and marketing specialist for the image and communications team at our Bilbao offices.We are seeking someone who can integrate into the team and work directly with various technical areas of IDOM to develop their communications and positioning.The ideal candidate will combine business acumen with content creation and social media channel management to adapt communications for diverse technical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defining and implementing the communications and marketing strategy for the technical areas.
• Creating, writing, and editing specialized content tailored to different audiences and channels.
• Managing digital channels:Corporate website (WordPress); Social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.);Internal communication (SharePoint).
• Developing positioning and business support materials (presentations, reports, proposals, etc.).
• Designing graphic elements and visual content (carousels, brochures, tri-fold brochures, etc.).
• Basic editing of audiovisual content (video and animation).Analyzing results and optimizing content and initiatives.
• Ongoing coordination with technical teams to understand projects and translate them into valuable communications.

Complementary skills in the following areas will be given special consideration:

• Creative design or fine arts.
• Video production and/or photography.
• Experience with AI tools related to communication and/or design.

You'll work directly with professionals in sectors such as the environment, water, industry, energy, transportation, and infrastructure, which will allow you to understand the business from the inside and develop a unique communication strategy.

ABOUT YOU

• You have a degree in Journalism, Communication, Marketing, or a related field, and a master’s degree in communication, marketing, or the audiovisual field.
• You excel at transforming technical information into clear, relevant, and engaging content.
• You combine creativity, visual judgment, and a keen eye for design to develop communication pieces that meet IDOM’s high standards of quality and excellence.
• You are happy collaborating with technical professionals and turning complex projects into stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
• You have a C1 level of English or higher.
• You enjoy working as part of a team, contributing new ideas, and bringing them to life.

Experience in the following areas is valued:

• Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Social media and digital communication.
• Presentations and corporate documentation (PowerPoint, Word).
• Audiovisual editing (Premiere, After Effects).
• Artificial intelligence tools applied to communication, marketing, or design.
