ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

 

We are looking for a Junior MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) Consultant to join our team of Digital Transformation in our offices in Bilbao or Madrid.

 

What will you do?

 

You will be part of industrial digital transformation projects, contributing to the implementation, evolution, and deployment of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) solutions based on Siemens Opcenter. You will collaborate on the integration of industrial systems and IT/OT architectures, as well as the commissioning of new manufacturing plants and production processes.

Working alongside multidisciplinary teams across production, quality, maintenance, automation, and IT, you will progressively develop both technical and functional expertise in industrial environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Participate in the identification and definition of shop floor signals required for MOM solutions.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and validation of development, testing, and production environments.
  • Contribute to the functional and technical configuration of Siemens Opcenter, including Opcenter OEE.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of Windows Server environments and SQL Server databases.
  • Support integration activities between industrial and enterprise systems.
  • Participate in projects involving technologies such as Ignition, OPC UA, MQTT, and industrial integration architectures.
  • Execute technical, functional, and integration testing activities.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during implementation phases.
  • Participate in the deployment of solutions across new manufacturing sites and production processes.
  • Support commissioning, start-up, and stabilization activities for implemented solutions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, installation procedures, test reports, and incident records.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and IT teams to ensure the successful operation of implemented solutions.

ABOUT YOU

 

Don’t hesitate to apply if you...

 

  • Hold a degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technologies Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have knowledge of, or a strong interest in, Industrial Automation, Industrial Electronics, Industrial Information Systems, or Industrial Digitalization.
  • Understand manufacturing processes and industrial operations.
  • Have experience with, or knowledge of, MES/MOM systems, particularly Siemens Opcenter.
  • Are familiar with industrial platforms, SCADA environments, or tools such as Ignition.
  • Have knowledge of industrial communication standards such as OPC UA and MQTT.
  • Understand IT/OT architectures, industrial networks, and communications.
  • Have worked with Windows Server, SQL Server, or relational databases.
  • Have experience or interest in application integration and automation through Python, SQL, or other programming languages.
  • Have knowledge of software testing and validation practices.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and technical rigor.
  • Have an advanced level of English. Knowledge of French and/or other languages is a plus.
