ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Bid Specialist to join the team of Rail & Transit in our offices Bilbao or Madrid
At IDOM, we offer you the opportunity to participate in national and international projects as part of a team where you will have the support to push your professional boundaries and improve your skills every day. In a multidisciplinary environment you will be exposed to all the latest technologies and best practices. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the preparation, coordination and presentation of competitive bids and proposals for railway projects.
- Ensuring that all tender documentation complies with customer specifications, industry standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Tracking tender opportunities, submission deadlines and bid progress using project management tools.
- Supporting the tender team in preparing presentations and materials for client meetings and interviews.
- Assisting with post-tender evaluations and contributing to the continuous improvement of tender processes.

ABOUT YOU
Apply if you…
- Have studied engineering or a similar subject.
- Have 1 to 2 years' experience in tender support or proposal coordination, ideally within the rail, transit or infrastructure sectors. And in supporting bids in collaboration with partners.
- Have knowledge of international public procurement processes in the railway and transit sector.
- are familiar with railway and transit terminology, standards and procurement processes.
- are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with Adobe InDesign or graphic tools for bid production is an advantage.
- Are a team player with technical excellence.
- Can work independently with a flair for innovation.
- Do have an advanced level of English.
